Importable — bulk Shopify import and export from any spreadsheet.
Move a store's worth of products, collections, inventory and more into Shopify from the spreadsheets you already have — and pull your live catalog back out to a spreadsheet whenever you need it. Columns mapped for you, every change shown and approved before it's written, and nothing in your original file changed.
Importable is a Shopify app that brings all of this straight into your store — bulk import and export with the same column-mapping and safety checks, no files to shuffle back and forth. It's being prepared for the Shopify App Store. Until it's available there, the free tools further down do the import work today and hand you a Shopify-ready file you upload yourself.
Safe by design — nothing happens to your store until you approve it
Every import is a two-step: we show you exactly what we'll do, then wait for your go-ahead. This is the through-line of the whole app.
Approve before anything is written
You get an itemized preview — exactly what changes for each row — and nothing touches your store until you approve it. Review what we'll do, then approve; nothing has happened yet.
Creates and updates, never deletes
Importable only creates and updates. It never deletes anything. Any row that would remove or clear data you already have is skipped and shown to you instead — never applied silently.
A reconciled receipt for every run
When a run finishes you get a receipt that accounts for every row in your file — what was created or updated, what was skipped and why, and what failed — adding up to your file's total, so nothing goes missing unexplained.
Export is read-only
Exporting your catalog to a spreadsheet only reads your store. It changes nothing — a safe way to get a complete, spreadsheet-friendly copy of your data out of Shopify.
What Importable moves
Importable imports and exports the Shopify entities below. Import maps your spreadsheet columns to Shopify's fields, flags anything that needs your judgment, and writes only on your approval. Export reads your live store into a spreadsheet, including fields Shopify's native CSV leaves out.

- Inventory — quantities by SKU across your locations
- URL redirects — old-path → new-path redirects in bulk
- Pages — online-store pages
- Blog posts — articles across your blogs
- Shop settings — store-level settings and metafields
